Appearance: Lelouch is a moderately tall young adult with a slender, almost bony build. Due to an intentional lack of any meaningful physical activity, he posesses virtually no muscle mass. He has an elegant physique and an aristocratic air that make him seem both dignified and condescending at the same time. Yet his deep purple eyes, though they normally reflect a calm and collected status, often hint at a more sinister fragmented mind. His left eye is branded with a permenantly-activated red geass, which he wears a purple contact lense over most of the time in order to hide it and negate its effects. His stark black hair falls down just below his ears in the back and frames his face in the front with bangs that end at about his nose. A set of odd secodary bangs jut out from just below his temples and come to a rest on the sides of his jaws, ending at about mouth level. He is most often seen in a formal indego stylized swallow tail coat with gold trim and a fancy ruffle shirt. He sometimes wears an accompanying dark indego and red cape which is adorned in gold trim as well.

Personality: Outawrdly, it is hard to pin any one personality onto Lelouch. He roulettes through a series of different self-created personalities depending on his situation and audience in order to maintain the image which he has established for them. To some, he is a cold, heartless demon who cares only about himself and will throw away family, friends, and allies at a moment's notice should such an action benefit his plan. Others see him only as a sweet and harmless person (if a bit selfish and lazy) who cares deeply about his friends and family.

The reality lies somewhere in between the two scopes -or perhaps, more accurately it is a mix of both of them. At his very most central core, Lelouch is a deeply caring person who has a strong sense of responsibility for his blind wheelchair-bound younger sister, Nunally. Everything he does is dictated by what he thinks would be to her benefit, even if it means destroying the world to ensure what he perceives as her well-being. But though he is a loving brother, his moral standards are less than pure. An unstable upbringing combined with the horrific murder of his mother marred Lelouch's psyche, and he emerged from childhood with a set of ideals that most people would refer to as being slanted.

By nature, Lelouch is a very selfish and obstinate person, but he is also highly intelligent. When compounded with the unconventional ideals that he holds, these traits make Lelouch an extreamely dangerous individual. Sly and cunning, the only person to have ever beaten him at chess was his older brother, which hints at his military ingenuity in both diplomacy and battle.

With the sole exception of Nunally, Lelouch has a general dis-value for human life and won't hesitate to take it away if it serves his purposes. He is an entirely logical person and easilly discards natural human emotions that would otherwise interfere with the most logical course of action, even if it means betraying or killing a friend.

However, Lelouch isn't entirely a slave to his own corruption. In a relatively peaceful and normal setting, Lelouch is almost a normal boy. A bit introverted and reserved, he would much rather sit down with a nice book or curl up for an afternoon nap instead of engaging his with his friends in a trip to the mall. When he can, Lelouch enjoys the simple things in life -the wind blowing, the trickle of a stream. Part of his selfish nature, he is very lazy and avoids any physical activity when at all possible which, in turn, makes him extraordinarilly weak and intollerant to anything that requires physical exhertion. Contradictory to his own actions, he cannot stand to see injustice done to anyone and will retalliate against the aggressor whenever he can. He never expresses romantic interest in either sex, but is not particularly averted from romance either; almost as though it doesn't exist in his world, he's simply just uninterested. Being the brilliant mind that he is, one of his favourite passtimes is participating in highly illegal underground chess tournaments, at which he never loses. At home, he is the dedicated caretaker of his sister Nunally, whom he loves almost obsessively. Ever-vigilant of her well-being, he exists to make her world the best world she can live in.

Slanted ideals and morally lacking, perhaps, but Lelouch isn't a lot unlike the rest of us: he only does what his heart feels is right. His heart is simply flawed.

Abilities/Strengths:

-He posesses a near-genius intellect. Additionally he is also very cunning, which results in his military superiority both diplomatically and on the battlefeild.

-Lelouch also has the advantage of posessing a Geass. Geass is a supernatural ability that manifests itself differently in different people. The Geass that Lelouch gained gave him the power of 'Absolute Obedience,' or the ability to directly dictate the actions of other human beings. This incredible power, however, does not come without a disclaimer;
* Commands must be issued verbally.
* The victim must make direct eye contact for commands to be issued. The maximum effective distance is 270 meters. Line of sight via a reflective surface is sufficient for the effect to occur.
* Commands may be issued only once to any given individual, but any number of commands may be issued at initial application so long as eye contact is unbroken.
* The victim will not perform any action disallowed by their physical or mental capabilities, though they will try to carry out the command to the best of their ability. However, commands that affect the mind or consciousness, such as telling the victim to forget something, will take effect despite the fact that the victim could not normally force themselves to do so.
* An action will be carried out for as long as dictated in its command. If no timeframe is specified, the command issue will terminate upon completion if the action is circumstancial. If the action is not circumstancial, the command issue will continue perpetually.
* The victim's memories for the duration of command issue and execution are sealed and cannot be recalled.
* It is inneffective against immortals.

Weaknesses:

-Physically, Lelouch is almost shamefully deficient. His laziness has rendered him so out-of-shape that any sort of physical exhertion at all leaves him exhausted and gasping for air.

-Lelouch's temper is usually subdued, but he tends to fly into a blinding rage easilly if he becomes trapped, is out-witted, or if Nunally is harmed/ insulted. His temper can easilly escalate to the point where his judgement is impaired.

-When he first received his Geass, Lelouch could initially control when to activate it and when it would lie dormant. As is the nature of Geass, however, being a malevolantly beneficial ability, he soon lost control of its activation and it became a permenantly active power, making it so that anyone he made direct eye contact with would immediately be under his Geass if he issued a command to them. This took on an unfortunate reality when he unwittingly caused a massacre after jokingly having told his older sister Euphemia that he could tell her to 'kill all the elevens'.

C.C., the woman who granted him his Geass, developed a special contact lens for him that blocks the Geass whenever he wears it. However, Geass will continues to grow in power the more the user uses it, and Lelouch's Geass will inevitably eventually overpower the contact lens, rendering it inneffective.

-Nunally is Lelouch's single biggest weakness, and is often consequently his enemies' trump card. Being the only thing in the world that he really loves, what he fights for, he can not harm her nor can he allow her to be harmed.

Notable Possessions:

The only things in Lelouch's posession (in addition to his current clothing) when he is snatched up by Econtra are a small pistol, his contact lens, and his cape.

History:

Lelouch comes from a dimension in which a single superpower known as The Holy Empire of Britannia dominates the world through force. Son of Charles zi Britannia, Emporer of Britannia, he is the 11th Prince of the Britannian Imperial family, and was 17th in line for the throne before his mother's assasination and the murder of his siblings.

When Lelouch was ten years old, an unknown assasain brutally murdered his mother, Marianne vi Britannia, and left his younger sister Nunally blind and paralyzed. A livid Lelouch, who accused his father of not upholding his duty to protect Marianne and leaving her defenseless, renounced his right to thr throne. Charles, with a blind ear to his son, in response banished Lelouch and Nunally to Japan, where he was used as a political hostage. Soon thereafter, the Britannians invaded and conquered Japan, renaming it "Area 11" without any concern as to Lelouch's and Nunally's safety. It was at this point that Lelouch vowed to destroy Britannia.

However, the events of his life thus far having made him a cynic realist, Lelouch soon came to terms with the fact that in reality he could do nothing of the sort. He loathed it, and it infuriated him, but he knew that he was ultimately powerless.

Seven years later, Lelouch had settled down with Nunally into the casual lifestyle of a Britannian student. Disenchanted with life and the events surrounding him, he lead a relatively mundane and unconcerned life, blowing off his school work and sleeping all the time. He regularly participated in illegal underground chess tournaments -not for the money, but solely for the challenge.

All that changed, however, when one day Lelouch mistakenly stumbled into a truck being used by Japanese resistance operatives and discovered a capsule containing a mysterious girl known as C.C. The Britannian soldiers who were in pursuit of the truck soon found them, and when Lelouch couldn't offer an explaination as to their presence, they prepared to fire. However, the mysterious girl jumped in front of Lelouch and took the bullet for him. Appauled, Lelouch reached down to help the girl, who touched his hand and telepathically offered him "The Power of the Kings," Geass.

As the soldiers prepared to fire again, Lelouch rose from the girl's body and glared into their eyes, bluntly commanding them to die. After a few moments, a wicked smile spread across Lelouch's face as he watched all five of them raise their guns and fire into their own temples with the words "Yes, your magesty!" With the Geass, Lelouch was no longer powerless against Britannia.

His first act of rebellion was to kill his half-brother, Clovis, after having interrogated him about his mother's murder to no avail. Fabricating an alias known only as 'Zero,' a masked cloked figure, Lelouch lept to the forefront of the Japanese resistance against Britannia, quickly annihilating his enemies with a combination of military ingenuity aided by years of playing chess and with the use of his Geass.

From then on out, Lelouch was unstoppable. Through a mixture of terrorism and conventional military strategy, Zero and his Black Knights quickly became Britannia's main adversary. it finally began to look as though Japan as a nation -and the rest of the world- had hope against being ruled by Britannia. However, unbeknownst to Lelouch, his identity had been compromised. Having believed his true identity to be safe, Lelouch had overlooked his own weakness; Nunally. She was soon kidnaped and held captive against Zero, an act that would turn the tide of the war.

Infuriated, Lelouch abandoned his army and fled battle for his sister, but was captured before he could get anywhere, and was brought before the Emporer of Britannia, his father. To his horror, Charles then revealed to Lelouch that he had a Geass as well -the power to erase memories. Instead of having Lelouch executed for treason and terrorism, he opted to simply re-write his son's memories, having him forget everything of his Britannian ancestry, Zero, the Rebellion, and Nunally. The newly-Geassed Lelouch was sent back to the Academy to live out his days as a normal citizen with an average past along with a replacement for Nunally, a fake brother named Rolo.

A year passed in this state. Without Zero as their leader, the Britannian forces began to eat into Black Knights' troops and Britannia soon regained its status as having a handle on the situation. Desperately in need of his leadership, the Black Knights ambushed and seized a bewildered Lelouch so that C.C. could stimulate him and re-awaken his memories. The Geass that Charles had placed on Lelouch was terminated, and Lelouch rose to the front of the Rebellion once again as Zero.

However, in re-awakening his memories, the Black Knights had also re-awakened Lelouch's memories of Nunally. Lelouch had indeed agreed to once again play Zero for the Black Knights, but now he had an alterior motive lying just beneath the surface of his leadership. He had an entire army, and he was going to use it to get back Nunally.

This plan though seemed to shatter as Britannia announced that it had reinstated Nunally as a princess and appointed her as Viceroy of Area 11. Her first act as Viceroy was to repeal the idea of 'Area 11' and establish the Special Administrative Zone of Japan. Lelouch was devastated. Continuing to lead the resistance now would be to go against Nunally's wishes, but to end the resistance would be to allow Britannia to win, and to let all the lives that he had taken and sacrificed in the process to be in vain. After reminding him just how many people were depending on him, Lelouch came to the realization that the battle was no longer just about Nunally, but for the sake of the Japanese people as well.

Lelouch decided to continue playing Zero for the Black Knights. An extensive and unfathomable plan had been laid out in his head. Not only would he use the army of the Black Knights to get back Nunally, he was going to use it to create a world in which she could live peacefully.

The Black Knights, along with the newly-formed United Federation of Nations, is just preparing to attack the Tokyo settlement where Nunally is located in order to capture her. Lelouch is brimming with rage and anticipation for the battle and his sister's return when he is brought into Econtra...
